SUP PEOPLE 8D
Guess what i might be getting? AN OEPRATION! 8D No, not really, well i hope not anyway :/ But i went to the doctors' yesterday for my arm and my mum also wanted to get this THING on my neck checked out. So apparently i have a
sebaceous cyst on my neck. Feel free to search it up on wiki, but just a warning, the picture's kinda gross though..BUT MINE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THAT! the doctor said that if it keeps recurring, i'll have to get a 'minor' operation to remove it completely. AKJSHKLAJDH D: my face was literally like O__O -> D: when he told me.Oh and i'm getting a x-ray tomorrow..or tuesday for an elbow that's probably not even broken or fractures...or sprained. =_____=
Today we went to Nan Tien Temple cos my brother got into OC O___O'? I dunno, but i went inside the temples with my mum while my brother and dad went off somewhere xD It was....
awkward. Since i'm not exactly a Buddhist, praying isn't something i feel very comfortable doing. Especially standing in the middle of a room holding incense candle/stick thing with my eyes closed while non-asian people (no racism intended) came and looked at you. So i tried to pray today like i do every other time i go there and as usual, after i finished praying i would be clueless and stand there with my eyes wide open looking around awkwardly while waiting for my mum to finish praying.
I got my future predicted today! Okay not really, but there was this thing where you knelt down and sincerely pray/wish for what you want, and like every other asian child, i prayed/wished for good exam results LOL (also cos my mum told me to) and then you had to draw this scroll from the box and you give it to this lady to interpret it.
Mine said:
The virtuous stand like a green pine, while the non-virtuous blooms like a flower! One day, when frost comes, the pine will still stand tall while the flower will be soon no more. Apparently this means i should study harder to achieve what i want. If i don't study for my exams i will fail.
The lady that was interpreting it had a really strong cantonese accent and half the words she was saying was cantonese so she was speaking cantonese mixed with mandarin. I sat there nodding my head at every sentence she was saying.
It was awkward.
